We are looking for a full-time teacher to join our team from September 2025.

These opportunities rarely come up at our school so this is an opportunity not to be missed!  We are looking for a caring, hardworking, dynamic and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for working with children with special needs.  This would be a good opportunity for a mainstream teacher, with an interest in working with children with additional needs, as well as those with special school experience.  ECTs and newly qualified teachers are warmly encouraged to apply.

In return we will offer you:

  • Children who work hard, behave well and respect and care for each other
  • A kind, creative, hard-working and supportive staff team, including an experienced senior leadership team, who are looking forward to working with you
  • A happy school with a culture where all contributions are valued, and staff work/life balance is a priority
  • A comprehensive new starter induction and training programme and employee assistance programme
  • Dedicated time for EHCPs and Subject Leader time, when required, alongside your class PPA time
  • An ongoing commitment to professional development.  As part of our commitment to staff training and wellbeing, pupils leave school at 2pm on Fridays to enable high quality whole school staff training for one hour every week

Onsite visits are essential to get a feel for our lovely school and Lisa Hall, our headteacher, would be delighted to meet you to discuss this role in more detail. So do not delay - get in touch today. If you have any queries please contact us on 01462 622422 or email: admin@woolgrove.herts.sch.uk
