We are a forward-thinking school who are looking to recruit a new member for our valued behaviour support team. The vacancy is for a Behaviour Support Key Worker to work alongside children with social, emotional and communication difficulties and/or special needs within the classroom and on the playground.

The position is full time school hours (35 hours) this includes providing lunch cover.

The contract is for the remainder of this academic year initially, with a view to potentially extending further into the 2025-26 academic year. This role would suit someone who is looking to gain experience in schools before a career in teaching or who feels that they have an allied skill set and want to see if behaviour support work with children is something they wish to specialise in.

There is an expectation that the post holders would involve themselves in the life of the school and be willing to regularly communicate with parents, carers and support other school activities.  In return, we at Pixmore can offer a friendly, dedicated and hard working team committed to staff development, good quality resources and a supportive governing and parent body.

If you are interested in the above position, you need to complete an HCC Support Staff application form, personal specification and submit a letter of application demonstrating your strengths and the qualities you would bring to the role.
