About the role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated 1:1 teaching support assistant to join our friendly and supportive staff team. The post involves working every day during term time with a mid morning break and a half hour lunch break:

Mon and Friday 8.45am - 3.15pm

Tues-Thurs 12.15-3.15pm

The post will be subject to a 26 week probationary period.

This post is linked to the needs of specific children for as long as they stay with us at St Nicholas. As a 1:1 Teaching Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the individual pupils’ learning and development.

We would like to appoint somebody who is kind, caring, adaptable, and enjoys working with children and understands how they learn. Previous experience of working with children in a primary school setting is essential and  experience of working with and/or caring for children on the spectrum would be highly desirable.

The role would involve working closely with our experienced staff and INCo.
