TEACHER OF PHYSICS
Required for September 2025 (July start available for ECT)
Salary includes London Fringe allowance

As a teacher of Physics at Freman College, you will be joining an experienced and highly successful Science department, who enjoy 8 purpose-built labs and excellent ICT facilities. Our GCSE results are consistently significantly positive both in terms of attainment and progress. We also have a large Sixth Form and science A Levels are extremely popular. If you love your subject and enjoy teaching A level – this is the perfect job!
Freman College is an oversubscribed upper school with around 1,000 students in years 9 – 13, including around 250 students in the Sixth Form.
This role offers excellent scope for an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher – whether experienced or an ECT - to work in a supportive, energetic and high-achieving school where students are making excellent progress. We have an excellent ECT induction programme and a July start is available.
Buntingford is a hidden gem in the Hertfordshire countryside – just a quick drive from Stevenage, Baldock, Royston, Cambridge, Bishop’s Stortford, Hertford and Ware – and is situated on the A10 midway between Cambridge and London.
