About the role

Governors seek to appoint a caring and nurturing part time (2.5/3 days) Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator from January 2025.

St Margaret Clitherow Roman Catholic Primary School is a fully inclusive, primary school, devoted to the needs of every individual and rooted in an ethos of Christian responsibility.

The school is very effective in ensuring all pupils feel welcome and included. Staff go out of their way to ensure there are no barriers to any pupil participating in clubs. Most pupils attend a wide range of clubs that extend their interests. This means all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), can fully explore and develop their talents. Ofsted May 2024

Applicants should be enthusiastic, well-motivated and display a commitment to maintaining a high SEN provision which enables quality teaching, excellent learning outcomes and success for all pupils. Candidates do not need to be Catholic but will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to the Catholic ethos of our school. We can offer children who are excited about learning, a stimulating learning environment (indoor and out), a supportive team and dedicated parents.

Visits are most welcome by prior arrangement – please telephone, Carmela Puccio (Headteacher) to find out more.

St Margaret Clitherow School is committed to the safeguarding of all pupils. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
