About the role
KS1/KS2 Class teacher – ECT or experienced
Are you positive, enthusiastic and passionate about teaching? We are looking for a class teacher to join our friendly, supportive team from September 2025. The role could be suited to an ECT or experienced teacher and we would consider a full time or part time teacher. The most important thing for us is that it is the right person with the right skills set.
We are looking for someone who:
- has the passion and drive to deliver quality first teaching
- is an adaptive practitioner that is able to utilise strategies to maximise progress and achievement
- has high expectations for all learners and is committed to giving every child the opportunity to reach their full potential
- is able to implement distinctive teaching approaches to engage and support the needs of all learners including those with SEND
- establishes effective relationships built on mutual respect
- values the importance of parent partnership and is proactive in building links to better pupil outcomes
- is a reflective practitioner who is committed to their own professional development
- is a team player and has strong communication skills
- most importantly…enjoys what they do!
OLS is part of one of the top performing multi-academy Catholic Trusts in the country. Our new teacher will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other teachers and leaders across the Trust (Diocese of Westminster Academy - DoWAT) to further strengthen provision and their own professional development.
