HEAD OF MEDIA STUDIES

Main or Upper Pay Scale (including the London Fringe Allowance) plus TLR 2(a) £3,391

Part-time hours considered for suitable candidate

What are we looking for?

  • An inspiring and motivational Head of Media Studies who can enthuse and engage students to achieve their full potential while developing a successful and growing department.
  • A committed individual who wishes to add to the success of the Media Studies department by researching and implementing their own ideas and strategies.
  • The department sits within the larger English and Media department and the successful applicant will also teach English. This post would suit an ambitious teacher who wishes to develop their career further to Assistant or Deputy Headship in due course

  • In accordance with the school’s admissions criteria, children of staff at the school are eligible to be allocated a place under this criterion where the member of staff is recruited under a contract of employment to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.
