Early Years Teaching Assistant
Salary – H3
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive early years nursery team. The successful candidate will be passionate about children's learning; will have high expectations and will enjoy working as part of a team. This position is offered as initially as a fixed term contract until July 2025, with the possibility of being extended further. Due to working in our Early Years team, applications will only be considered if a Level 3 certificate in childcare is held.
We are a happy and popular school with a positive and therapeutic ethos. We value the experience that all our support staff bring and the year groups work as a team to best support the children. The succesful applicant will work alongside one or more teachers and will also work independently with groups of children. We are a two-form entry Infant school with an on-site Nursery, set in a residential area in Cheshunt. The school sits in a large open space, shared with our partner Junior school and has its own dedicated Forest School area. The school has well-resourced classrooms and curriculum areas alongside a stunning outdoor environment including our Forest School.
We were last inspected by Ofsted in March 2024 and were judged as continuing to be a good school.

This is a term term only post from March 2025 that would be suitable for applicants who hold a level 3 certificate in Childcare.The successful applicant would be working with children in our Nursery class.
