Welcome to Weston Way Nursery.
We have a rare opportunity to join our Weston Way family as an Early YearsPractitioner (EYP) where we are proud of our 'Home from Home' ethos. We are looking for someone who is passionate about education in the early years and has the desire to make a real difference to the lives of young children through the core provision.
Our new Early Years Practitioner (EYP) will contribute to the nursery wider's aims of ensuring that every unique child has access to a warm, nurturing, safe and enabling environment promoting our school aims:

This role will entail providing quality teaching and learning opportunities for our children on roll. This will involve playing with children for extended periods of time both indoors and outdoors, undertaking observations, feeding assessments into the planning cycle in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and adapting provision across the curriculum for all children.
The successful applicant must be NVQ level 3 in Early Years. Please see the job description and person specification for further details.
Hours of work are 32.5 hours per week during term-time including inset days. There is the possibility of additional wraparound and/or holiday club days should this be of interest to you. (This will affect the pro rata salary where the number of weeks working for HCC affects pro-rata calculations. These can be supplied by using the salary calculator on Teach In Herts).
