About the role
Windermere Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and caring teacher, who wants to share their love of learning with our children and join our friendly and hard-working team.
We are looking for an experienced KS2 teacher with high expectations, who is keen to make a difference in our inclusive, multi-cultural school. In return, we offer a highly supportive team, enthusiastic children and access to professional development and training.
This is an ideal opportunity to be part of a welcoming and friendly community. We are committed to ensuring all teachers benefit from continuing professional development opportunities and are well supported in their role.
The school is well-resourced, with spacious classrooms and good levels of TA support. The school has a large outdoor area that includes an outdoor theatre, wildlife area and landscaped kitchen-garden.
We offer a range of benefits such as the Herts Rewards scheme and a range of health benefits through our staff absence insurance policy. Whilst we have high expectations, the school's leadership team make a conscious effort to reduce teacher workload and support staff work/life balance.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in our care and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS.
Visits to the school are encouraged. We reserve the right to appoint a suitable candidate before the deadline if appropriate.
