About the role
We are looking for a Class Teacher to join us on a fixed term contract with the possibility of this becoming permanent. The post is for a Thursday morning and a whole day on Friday. The successful candidate would join a team committed to supporting every child to develop a positive sense of self and the skills for lifelong learning. This post is for a teacher who has experience of teaching in the 3-7 age range. Due to our current commitments to building our teachers’ professional development this role is not open to teacher in their first or second year of teaching.
We are looking for someone who will:
- Show a genuine interest in our children’s wellbeing and build a positive and respectful rapport with all children
- Make learning engaging and motivating for all learners
- Use their understanding of a therapeutic approach to respond to behaviour
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the team, communicating effectively
- Show initiative, enthusiasm and passion in the subject they lead
- Uphold and role model our school expectations of Kind, Respectful, Safe
