About the role

The Bishop’s Stortford High School has an exciting opportunity for you.  We are seeking to appoint a creative and pro-active Food and Art Technician to assist the smooth running of the Design Technology and Art departments. Key responsibilities will include support in food technology lessons, including preparation, safe storage of food and cleaning and support in Art preparing for lessons, particularly in 3D art and exhibitions.

The Bishop’s Stortford High School is a popular, oversubscribed 6FE school of 1260 students, providing a single-sex education for boys in Years 7 to 11 with a thriving mixed sixth form of close to 400 students, including 133 female students. This is a very exciting time to be joining our Outstanding school, as we relocated to a brand-new state-of-the-art school, in September 2024, on a large site less than a mile from our previous location.
