1:1 Send Learning Support Assistant KS1

About the role

Prae Wood Primary & Nursery School is a successful and thriving two-form entry school, with a nursery, situated to the north of St. Albans. We are seeking a highly experienced Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in KS1. This is a part-time, fixed term contract attached to the child and is only available whilst the child remains at Prae Wood School. (21 hours 25mins a week across 5 mornings 8.40am - 1.00pm.)

Applicants should:

• be experienced, nurturing, patient and enthusiastic;

• be confident liaising with outside agencies and able to follow and implement plans;

• be intuitive to the needs of the child and enthuse them to learn and develop;

• be able to communicate regularly with parents and the school SENDCO;

• be a person of integrity and warmth;

• be able to work collaboratively with others;

• be punctual and well organised
