About the role
We are looking to expand our friendly team at Lordship Farm primary school with the appointment of an additional teaching assistant. The role is permanent and part-time to support the teacher with classroom based assistance and intervention groups.
You will need to be an inclusive practitioner with a big heart and someone who is passionate about supporting every child to reach their potential, whatever their barrier may be.
Working at Lordship Farm, you'll become a valued part of our school community and able to play an active part in the life of the school.
The school has a strong belief in continued professional development and we support all staff with further learning through high quality continued professional development and tailored enrichment courses that follow your interests and support the development of expertise in different learning areas.

Requirements
Essential
L2 Qualification in supporting children’s education/L3 preferable
GCSE (or equivalent) pass in Mathematics and English
Desirable
Recent experience of working with a primary school setting supporting pupils with SEND/Behavioural needs
Positive outloook and resilience.
Herts Steps Therapeutic Thinking experience
Start date: January 2025
Salary advertised is full time and will need to be pro-rata against the hours and weeks worked.
