About the role
Are you a reflective practitioner who can work within a team engaging and responding to children's thinking and learning? Do you have the ability to support children with a variety of needs, enabling independence, challenge and success? If so, we are looking for a full-time experienced Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and friendly team in January 2025.
The role will involve working as a general classroom teaching assistant. This post involves carrying out specific tasks, preparing the learning environment and resources, liaising with the class teacher, supporting individuals and groups. We are looking for someone who is able to have a genuine interest in our pupil’s wellbeing and build a positive and respectful rapport with all children. You should have experience of phonics, guided reading and small group work as well as supporting with displays and completing administrative tasks. We expect all our staff to be competent with using IT.
We are committed to developing all our staff and provide a range of training on-site as well as supporting staff to attend courses.

The applicant will be required to work from 8.30am to 3.30pm term-time only. Salary will depend upon the successful candidate's experience.
