About the role
In our Ofsted inspection, Mary Exton Primary School was described as "a happy place for pupils to learn and play," where "positive relationships are quickly forged between staff and children."
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team and contribute to our nurturing school environment.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, organised, flexible and committed to supporting all children to achieve their potential. They must be able to work under the direction of our class teachers and senior leaders, as well as on their own initiative.
They will be joining a friendly, hardworking and very supportive staff team, and will be able to work with our fantastic children who are kind, eager and willing to learn.
The post is initially for a fixed term contract until July 2025 in the first instance, but there may be an opportunity for this position to become permanent. This position is full time and will include supervising children during their lunch break. Please note that this post is during term-time only and so when looking at the salary, bear in mind that this is based on the full time equivalent.
We would welcome a visit to our school so that you can get a taste of our wonderful children and the team you would be working with. Please telephone 01462 456997 to arrange a mutually convenient time.
The School and Governors adhere to Safer Recruitment procedures and we are strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and staff. You will be asked at interview about the boundaries between adults and children.
We are looking for someone to join the team as soon as they are able to and so we reserve the right to interview before the closing date.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
