Woodfield School in Hemel Hempstead is now recruiting a teaching assistant. We provide outstanding education to pupils aged 3-19 with severe learning difficulties and complex needs. You will work as part of a motivated class team, lead by the class teacher. Each of our calsses consist of 8-10 pupils.
Previous experience of working in a special needs setting is desirable, however experience in the Early Years or KS1 in a mainstream school is also a good grounding for teaching our pupils. Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECT) will be considered.
To be successful, your application should demonstrate your commitment, knowledge, and passion for working with children with SEND, along with a willingness and enthusiasm to contribute further to the wider life and ethos of the school. You will be willing to support our vision of ‘Sharing, Caring and Achieving Together’.
