About the role
At Haywood Grove School we use innovative approaches to support our pupils with the challenges they face. We are passionate about our children’s social, emotional and academic progress and put the experiences of our children at the heart of what we do.
We are currently looking to recruit a teaching assistant to work in our special school for children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
Successful applicants will need to be child-centred, organised, adaptable, resilient and non-punitive, in line with the way in which we work. Visits to the school are warmly invited. We recommend that potential applicants look at our website before application.
The hours of work will be 8.30 a.m. to 345p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 830-6 on a Tuesday and 830-215pm on a Friday. This is term-time only (inclusive of INSET days).

The salary range of this posts is H3-H5 (dependent on experience).
The post is for an immediate or as soon as possible start.
