We are looking to appoint an energetic and inspiring part-time Teacher of Psychology.
Presdales School is a single sex comprehensive school in Ware for girls aged 11-18, with boys welcomed into the Sixth Form. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and innovative A level psychology teacher to join our highly successful Psychology Department. Examination grades and pupil progress are excellent, and the subject is one of the most popular at KS5, with many pupils going on to study Psychology and related courses at university. We are looking for a passionate and inspirational subject specialist who has the desire to motivate and challenge all of our students to reach their full potential. The psychology department is committed to ensuring the very highest standards of teaching and learning and the preferred candidate will be someone who is willing and eager to collaborate and participate in the extra-curricular life of the department.
The department follows the Edexcel specification at A Level and has a rich offering of extra-curricular activities including a prefect-run lower school psychology fun club, revision and exam technique support clinics and our annual Year 13 trip to Krakow, Poland.
