Hitchin Boys’ School (HBS) is an outstanding and over-subscribed comprehensive school with a mixed sixth form, which forms part of the highly successful Hitchin Schools’ Consortium. We are now seeking an outstanding Teacher of Food Technology to join our Design and Technology Department in September 2025. The position is to teach students KS3 Food Technology, KS4 Level 1/2 Hospitality & Catering. Ability to teach other areas of Design & Technology is desirable.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic teacher who would like to join an outstanding school and gain significant experience to further enhance their career. There is the potential for a TLR for the right candidate depending on skill-set and experience.

The successful candidate will be ambitious and have a passion for their subject. They will have the ability to motivate all students and to bring new ideas as the school builds on its excellent status.
