About the role

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated person who would like to provide a key role in maintaining our school site, to ensure a welcoming and safe environment.

Hours of work 07:00 -09:30, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only plus two weeks

The salary range stated is the actual annual gross pay taking into account the role's part-time hours.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Locking and unlocking the school and carrying out grounds security/safety checks
  • Carry out and record statutory checks and maintain Health and Safety records
  • Maintenance and cleaning of the school grounds and property to a high standard including liaising with contractors
  • Monitor site stock and order supplies.
  • Undertake risk assessments, ensure compliance within the school with all health and safety responsibilities for example COSHH, ladder, asbestos, legionella

The successful candidate will be required to act as a key holder.
