The Site Lead at Redbourn Park Special School will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day
operations and leadership of the school. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Site Lead will be responsible for overseeing the effective management of the school site, resources, and personnel to ensure a safe, well-organised, and nurturing environment for our pupils. This role will involve a balance of operational, teaching, and leadership responsibilities, all of which will be aligned with the school's vision of providing exceptional care and education for our pupils with complex needs.

Redbourn Park is growing quickly and offers an incredible opportunity to work in a quickly growing and developing team. We have a range of staff and the we are set up to support both new teachers and experienced staff alike. We have program in place to develop teachers and opporunties to progress for as we grow for those with more experienece.
Our students have autism as their primary need, alongside other complex needs. They are capable learners who have often had difficult experiences in previous schools. You'll work with students experiencing anxiety and demand avoidance, giving you valuable experience in special education. Don't worry if you're new to working with autism - we provide comprehensive training and continuous support from our experienced team.
Since opening in 2021, we've already expanded to a second site, with a third site planned. This growth from our current 24 students to around 40 will create numerous opportunities for career progression as you develop your skills and experience.
