About the role
York Road Nursery School & Pre-School is looking for a new SENDCO from September 2024. The current Headtacher has been the SENDCO for nearly ten years and is moving on, which is why this exciting opportunity has arisen.
The school needs the right person to have energy, drive, resilience and to be a fully active member of the team. Some flexibility will be required as though working days will be agreeed, there will from time to time be a requirement to swap working hours or days.
Like all schools, the number of children with SEND is high and increasing, we need a SENDCO that is reliable and who wants to work with the staff team, the familes and the child- not just be doing the paperwork!
