About the role
Alban Way Consortium School Family Worker
Are you a compassionate and caring person, keen to make a difference to the emotional wellbeing of children?
If so, our close-knit consortium of 5 local schools is looking for a school family worker to support the emotional well-being of our pupils and their families. The successful candidate will have some experience of providing pastoral/mental health support to pupils within a primary school. The role will involve working one day a week at each of our 5 schools.
You would need to be approachable, flexible, organised and have good communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently. The schools are located within a 3 mile radius, so it would be ideal if you have a method of transport to travel between settings.
Our schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. If you are interested in the post and would like more information please contact Cunningham Hill Junior School to arrange a visit.
We reserve the right to appoint prior to the closing date of advert.
