We are seeking a committed, energetic and inspirational PE teacher to join our highly skilled team of professionals.  The post is a part time (0.6), permanent position starting in February 2025. We are keen to hear from both secondary PE teachers looking for a move into the primary phase, and primary teachers with a particular interest or specialism in PE. In this role, you would be required to teach PE for all classes from Early Years to Year 6, and co-ordinate physical education, school sport and physical activity across the school including extra-curricular clubs. 

April, May half term or September start.  

We have a wonderful team of staff and pupils who are motivated to learn and grow. Our school is full of fun, laughter, kindness and hard work. 

We are looking to appoint an excellent teacher who: 

  • is passionate about teaching and learning in PE.  

  • has high standards and high expectations of all pupils. 

  • has the ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible attitude and a calm, organised work ethic. 

  • has experience and understanding of organising, promoting and evaluating the children’s learning. 

  • is able to deliver well planned, well considered and motivational lessons, with experience of motivating and managing children effectively. 

  • possesses strong communication skills, appropriate to communicating effectively with staff, parents and children. 

  • Is a champion for PE who will sustain our platinum PE award.  

  • will continue to improve sports and physical education provision through the implementation of the sports premium budget.
