About the role
Do you enjoy being creative? Do you have good organisational skills? Do you believe that lunchtimes should be an enjoyable and positive learning experience? If the answer to these questions is YES, then we need you!
At Essendon, we are Going for Gold. It is a very exciting time to join our school community. We offer a comprehensive induction to new members of the team and will offer support and guidance plus encouragement to fulfil your role to its full potential.
We invite potential candidates to visit us or arrange a telephone call with a member of our leadership team. Please contact the school office, if this is of interest.
The lead MSA will be expected to work in line with the school's safeguarding policies and procedures, including Keeping Children Safe in Education and the Prevent Duty. They will be responsible for reporting any concerns about a child's safety or well-being to the designated safeguarding lead (DSL) and for actively contributing to the creation of a safe and nurturing environment for all pupils.
The school reserves the right to interview candidates as and when applications are received and may close this advert at any time.
SAFEGUARDING
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and parents to follow this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection processes reflect this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and enhanced Disclosure Barring Service.
