About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Key Stage 2 teacher, in the role of KS2 PPA teacher, to join our dedicated and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong KS2 practitioner who holds high expectations for pupils' achievement and behaviour. The role is part-time, covering our Key Stage 2 PPA teacher during their maternity leave.

Our new KS 2 PPA teacher will have:

  • experience in teaching in KS2
  • high expectations of themselves, colleagues and pupils
  • strong classroom practice with high expectations of achievement and behaviour for all pupils
  • have the ability to motivate and engage pupils with their learning
  • a commitment to providing a stimulating, creative curriculum
  • high standards of professionalism and personal integrity
  • a good understanding and practical experience of ensuring safeguarding for pupils in their care
  • the ability to establish and maintain effective communication with pupils, parents and colleagues
