About the role
Leavesden JMI School and Nursery is a two-form entry school in North Watford. We are seeking to recruit a HLTA or Cover Supervisor to cover classes when teachers need time out of class for planning or other duties. If you have experience of working with children in classrooms, perhaps as a teaching assistant or teacher wishing to step away from full-time classroom responsibilities, then this could be the job for you.
This is a part-time position, term-time only, plus up to five paid INSET days per year. You will be able to choose your working hours from the following two options:
You will be asked to cover in all classes across the school and will be provided with planning from the teachers you are covering. You will have weekly time out of class to read through all teachers plans and liaise with staff as necessary.
