About the role
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Head of Drama (0.8) to join St. Francis` College to manage the delivery of the Drama Curriculum together with ensuring the sustained delivery of the highest quality teaching and learning in all parts of the department.
Set in the midst of Letchworth Garden City, St. Francis' College has been providing a first-class education for girls for over 85 years, blending traditional values and a modern vision.
St. Francis’ College is recognised for its outstanding academic results, pastoral support and the extensive range of extracurricular activities available for students.
Drama at St. Francis’ College is a very popular subject. Throughout KS3 pupils experience a wide range of topics, as well as experiencing theatre visits, participating in ISI competitions (Musical Theatre and Shakespeare) and having the opportunity to participate on or backstage in our whole-school production. At GCSE and A Level pupils follow the Eduqas syllabus. Both GCSE and A Level Drama are popular choices for pupils.
