Role: Finance Assistant (purchasing)
Salary/Grade: H5 depending on skills/experience (£26,409-£28,624 pro rata)
Hours: 28-30 hours per week, term time plus 3 weeks
Start date: January 2025

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, well organised individual to join our small finance team as a Finance Administrator. You will be responsible for processing the day-to-day financial transactions of the school, accurately and on time, in order to assist with the smooth running of the school’s finances. The particular focus of this role will be maintaining the purchase ledger, ordering of supplies and parentpay administration. You will also deal with general student, staff and parents/carer queries face-to-face and on the telephone. Successful candidates should be self motivated, with an excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. Previous experience of working in a school finance position would be an advantage but it is not essential as training and support on our financial software will be provided. Hours can be worked over 4 or 5 days and there is flexibility with start and finish times.
