Are you a practitioner with a love of English who craves greater autonomy in your role or simply a new direction? East Hall is a school that seeks to enable our teachers to enjoy teaching to their strengths and to thrive, whilst working with small classes in a unique rural setting.
We are offering the opportunity to work with a supportive team in further developing and delivering an exciting, purposeful and engaging experience of English (up to GCSE level). No matter at what phase your English experience sits, you could be a crucial part of our success.
The successful candidate:
- Must be an excellent classroom practitioner with creative and innovative ideas and committed to achieving the best outcomes for students.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and can differentiate learning to meet the needs of each student.
- Must have the ability to work collaboratively, while managing multiple priorities, setting and meeting appropriate targets, be solution driven and be a positive force of good at the school.
- Must be fully IT literate.
- Must have a sense of humour!
- Must be willing to drive and support a wide range of school-related activities.

East Hall School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and /or other reference and security checks for those applicants residing / working outside the UK. Further / refresher training will be provided as part of the School induction process for any staff who will be working regularly in direct contact with students.
