About the role
Are you an enthusiastic, motivated and creative person who wants to make a positive difference to children's lives? Do you have a Level 3 Childcare qualification and previous experience working in an early years setting? If so, you may be just the person we are looking for.
Due to increasing pupil numbers, we are looking to add to our existing team of experienced Early Years Practitioners (EYPs) in January 2025. We are offering a permanent role for 31.75 hours/week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days) in our Preschool. The hours are 8:45am - 5pm on Monday and 8.45am - 3.15pm Tuesday to Friday (including a half-hour lunch break).
The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and learning of a group of 2 & 3 year olds, ensuring that the provision for all children is of the highest possible standard and inspiring them to learn through a curiosity-based approach. We have a well-resourced environment, with significant investment having been made in the classrooms and outdoor garden areas over the last year.
You will be joining a friendly and supportive team who value new ideas and fresh thinking. We have an experienced Senior Leadership Team and supportive Governing Body and we were rated outstanding at our most recent Ofsted visit in February 2024. All staff are valued and there will be opportunities for CPD within the role. All staff have an annual wellbeing day in addition to school holidays and are able to access wellbeing support through Schools Mutual.
