An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Haileybury as Deputy Head (Pastoral).
The Deputy Head (Pastoral) is an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). They will lead the strategic development and operational delivery of the pastoral life of the School, working closely with the Safeguarding and House teams to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and pastoral care.
The successful candidate will need to be comfortable and confident when dealing with colleagues, parents, and pupils. Experience of working in a boarding school and a commitment to supporting the wider life of Haileybury will be essential. A high degree of emotional intelligence, and the ability to form outstanding relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider Haileybury community are paramount.

Haileybury is a leading co-educational independent boarding and day school in Hertfordshire with around 900 pupils, aged 11 to 18. Founded in 1862, Haileybury is a school that values its history and traditions, but which is innovative and progressive.
