About the role
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and well-organised Teaching Assistant to join our team at St John's. Our TA’s play a crucial role across our school and make a real difference to our teachers and the children they work with.

The role will involve spending a majority of the classroom time working with identified groups of children under the direction of the class teacher and you will also cover lunchtime duties as a Midday Supervisor. It would be desirable for applicants to have experience of working with children, preferably with a Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ qualifications in Children's Care, Learning and Development (CCLD) or a Diploma in Supporting Teaching & Learning.
The successful candidate will:

- build excellent relationships with the pupils, staff and parents,

The position is a Fixed Term contract to work for 4/5 days a week term time only, 8.45am to 11.45am. The contract will end on Wednesday 23rd July 2025.
