The Governors of Maple Cross JMI and Nursery School are seeking to appoint an extraordinary class teacher to join our school community. Are you highly organised, dynamic and passionate? The role begins in September 2025 and is offered as a permanent post.
This role is suitable for an experienced class teacher where additional responsibilities and time will be provided for the right candidate. These additional responsibilities could include leading OPAL (outdoor play and learning) alongside our play leader, supporting disadvantaged pupils and their families, leading our pupil leadership roles and supporting the admin team with absence. Equally, this role could be suitable for an ECT looking to start their carer in the best profession in the world.

- Can establish and maintain good relationships and work alongside school staff and most importantly our families;
- Is willing to go above and beyond and become part of our community;
- Is flexible and ready to embrace the unique rewards and challenges of working in a small school;
- Has high standards of professional conduct and personal integrity;
- Can work closely with other professional services and agencies;
- Has a love of learning and always wanting to better themselves
