Attendance and Medical Administrator
H4 pro rata
Part time - 2 days
8am - 4pm
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Attendance and Medical Administrator to join our dynamic team at Bonneygrove Primary School. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring children's attendance and assisting with various administrative duties including medical needs paperwork and support to parents / carers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Closely monitor and track pupil attendance, identifying patterns and trends
- Liaise with parents/carers to understand and address any attendance issues
- Maintain accurate attendance records and generate reports as required
- Assist with the admissions process, including processing applications and maintaining related documentation
- Provide administrative support to the school office as needed
- Provide Admin support at meetings (notes of meetings)
- Letters to parents / carers.
- Update and maintain records / management information system
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar administrative or attendance-focused role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using relevant software and IT systems
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Empathetic and understanding approach when working with families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset
- Enthusiasm for contributing to the wider life of the school community
