About the role
Greenfields is a growing and welcoming community school located in South Oxhey. We are looking to appoint a hard-working, organised individual to join our busy, friendly school as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant. Working hours will be 20 hours per week, which will include 8.30am - 1pm daily, term time only. This post is linked to the needs of specific children for as long as they stay with us at Greenfields. Candidates with experience of EYFS SEN would be ideal. The candidate will be expected to provide personal care and be able to deal with challenging needs with a non verbal child.

The 1:1 children this post is for do have diagnoses of ASD, so experience of working with / supporting / caring for children on the spectrum would be highly desirable, and whilst no child is the same, and understanding of ASD is essential. Greenfields School has a clear commitment to safeguarding. The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks and an enhanced DBS check. References will be required in advance of interview.
