Description
The Grove Junior School is a popular, fully subscribed three form entry school of 360 pupils. The school is situated in the Southdown area of Harpenden and our recent Ofsted report commented that “Pupils love attending The Grove. They learn in a calm, respectful atmosphere. Pupils feel safe and trust the adults who work with them. As a result, relationships in the school are warm and caring.“
Our children are well motivated,eager to learn and their behaviour is exemplary. The school benefits from spacious classrooms and extensive grounds, where we believe in educating the 'whole child' by offering a wide range of music, sports and arts activities as well as first class inclusive education.
We benefit from having extremely supportive parents, as well as a positive and strong friendly team spirit amongst the staff, where a 'can-do' attitude is regularly demonstrated.
