Description
The Abbey CE VA Primary School is a popular voluntary aided school affiliated to the Church of England, and it enjoys strong links with St Albans Cathedral, which is its parish church. The schools’ Christian ethos permeates through all areas of school life. In May 2018, Church School inspectors (Section 48) judged the school to be an ‘outstanding’ Church of England school.
In September 2019 Ofsted judged the school to be ‘Good’ in Overall Effectiveness and in all the five areas judged, something we are very proud of. The school achieves high standards of attainment and values its caring Christian ethos. We work together to provide a positive and lively learning environment and we are proud of our committed and hardworking staff teams, supportive governors and energetic Friends' Association. Visitors to the school are welcome!
