Description
Oughton Primary and Nursery School is a community school, taking pupils from 3-11 year olds. The school is situated in the Westmill area of Hitchin in Hertfordshire and was formed in 2001, when the former Oughtonhead Junior and Infant Schools were amalgamated.
Oughton Primary and Nursery School is a friendly, supportive and nurtering place where children thrive and succees, fulfilling their potential ready for the next stage of their education. We promote the enjoyment of learning that caters for the needs of each child. We take pride in being a happy school, provididng a stimulating curriculum in a safe, caring environment with wonderful grounds.
Our recent Ofsted inspection showed we are a 'Good' school with an 'Oustanding' Early Years provision.
