Description

Ludwick Nursery School provides many exciting opportunities for staff, children and families. 'Nurturing Individuals; Growing the Community' is at the heart of all we do for families and children in our community. Our values of Respect, Trust, Courage and Kindness underpin the ethos of the school. We have excellent relationships with parents and carers of up to 200 nursery school children who attend part time or who take up our 30 hour funded childcare places. We  offer places for children aged 2-5 years old. We share onsite provision with Squirrels Day Nursery providing shared care for up to 40 children.

We offer a unique service of high quality nursery education, wrap around care and other family support. Ofsted judged Ludwick Nursery School to be outstanding in February 2023 for the fifth consecutive time. Ludwick has a Gold Staff Well Being award, Gold Herts Early Years Quality Standards award and a Gold Herts Inclusion award. We are proud to be a highly inclusive school where every child is welcome. Our Yellow Group supports children with social communication needs providing specialist and highly skilled SEN support. The school has an experienced and supportive team, committed to providing children with the best possible start to their education.  You are welcome to visit to see the fantastic facilities and the opportunities that we offer.
