Description

Broxbourne Church of England Primary School was founded in 1931 to provide education ‘according to the principles and practices of the Church of England’. The School is in a beautiful setting with the New River at the front and the River Lea at the back. We have a large playing field, a nature trail and three hard surface playgrounds. We have an Early Years Unit, as well as a library, an ICT suite, a music room/Extended School facilities, a meeting/PPA room, small group working areas and an Adult and Community Learning room. We have a strong supportive Governing Body and PTA. The building is single storey with individual classrooms and a large multi-purpose hall at its centre. Most parts of our school are accessible to wheelchair users. We have close links with our Parish Church, St Augustine’s. We seek to make a responsible contribution to our local, wider and global community.
