Description
Our diverse, community-embracing school is situated within spacious grounds in Hemel Hempstead. The school is nearing the end of a 5 year journey to become a two-form entry establishment.
Our new, contemporary building, houses our Key Stage 2 pupils. It opened in September 2019 and hosts classrooms and intervention teaching rooms designed for Key Stage 2, together with comfortable staff facilities. This compliments our adjoining building (for Key Stage 1 and Foundation Stage), which has an inviting, nurturing and sensory enriched environment for younger pupils.
We are focused on equipping our children to excel with their studies, as well as within their social sphere. Our approach is to maximise the educational achievements for every learner. We expect our pupils to maintain extremely high standards of behaviour and to continue to be motivated, resilient learners. Belswains is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all pupils and staff.
We work in unity with those in local secondary schools and this provides a progressive strand for our pupils. Our positive partnership with parents and guardians continues to flourish and we have a strong and committed PTA. Other significant community links that we have, such as with charitable and religious organisations, reflect our passion to be inclusive.
