Role:
As our Primary Maths Lead, you will:
Drive Standards in Mathematics: Lead the strategic direction of maths teaching across Years 5 and 6, ensuring high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils. You will also link with our Secondary Head of Maths.
Monitor and Improve Student Progress: Be accountable for tracking, analysing, and improving pupil achievement in maths, using data to inform planning and intervention.
Engage Parents and Stakeholders: provide regular updates on pupil progress through reports, parent meetings, and other communications.
Support Academic Potential: help every pupil realise their academic potential by maintaining an unrelenting focus on quality teaching and effective student support.
Lead and Develop Staff: drive high standards of teaching through effective leadership, professional development, and collaboration with colleagues.
Prepare for KS3 Transition: working with Secondary colleagues, ensure Year 6 pupils are well-prepared for continued success as they transition to Key Stage 3.
