Year 1 Class Teacher (4 days per week or full time)

About the role

Our wonderful Year 1 class are looking for a teacher with enthusiasm and experience to teach them for four days per week, ideally Tuesday - Friday but this can be discussed with the successful candidate. We would also consider full time applicants and invite applications from teachers looking for 3.5 days to full time.   

They are a lovely class of 27 children and unlike some of our other classes who are being taught as a single year group. As a school we use Cornerstones as our main curriculum and schemes to support with the planning of other subjects including PE and PSHE. We place a high emphasis on staff workload and PPA time is protected and always covered by a qualified teacher.

Are you an experienced KS1 teacher looking for a new role in a supportive, friendly and small school? Do you like the idea of the autonomy of teaching a single year group in a well resourced school?

This position is on a permanent contract and the successful candidate will have the benefit of a TA to support you all day.  You will also benefit from the support of a very experienced team of teachers and a SENCO who will proactively offer support.
