About the role
We are looking to appoint a Wraparound Care Assistant for our after school club Acorns. Hours of work are 3:00pm – 6:00pm Monday to Friday, term-time only. There is flexibility on the number of days and hours needed so please specify this on your application. Initially the contract will be until July 2025, likely with the scope to extend.
Along with a Wraparound Care Manager, the Wraparound Care Assistant will care for children after school, organising a range of activities to keep the children safe, active and engaged before they start school or their parent/carer comes to collect them.
We are looking for someone who:-
- Approaches all work with high expectations and a can-do attitude;
- Maintains a consistent, caring approach to working with children;
- Works well as part of a team;
- Welcomes change and always looks for ways to improve;
You will be joining a supportive and dedicated team with training available. Templewood was judged to be requires improvement in October 2021 and our school has rapidly improved over the last 2 years. Ofsted was back in school in December 2023 and we received an overall judgement of Good and Outstanding for personal development.
