We have an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated, passionate and resilient Teaching Assistants (general and 1-1) to join our team. Our staff team is friendly, supportive and hardworking and we place significant importance on staff wellbeing and development.
Pinewood is an Academy for 11–16-year-olds, who all have Special Educational Needs including Learning Difficulties, Autism and Speech, Language and Communication needs. Pinewood has a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere built on mutual respect.
You will be expected to support pupils (inc.1:1) under the direction of the Teacher. Experience of working as a teaching assistant or within a Special School is not a pre-requisite for this position, but would be advantageous. An interest and enthusiasm for developing within this exciting, challenging and rewarding area of education is key.

- Working Pattern: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday: 8.30–4.00pm, Thursday & Friday: 8.30–3.30pm
Possible flexibilty for 3pm finish - except for Tuesdays (due to staff training) - to be discussed at interview. Please indicate any flexible finish times required. Please note we can only accommodate flexible working finish times from 3pm - all other working hours are mandatory.
