Albury Primary School are looking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic, teaching assistant with lunchtime play leader work. The role would involve helping in the classroom, taking interventions and supporting pupils with special educational needs. As well as looking after the children at lunchtimes, both in the dinner hall and in the playground. You will be expected to promote active play, helping to build positive relationships with the children, encourage healthy eating and follow the School’s Behaviour Policy, including reporting any serious safeguarding concerns in line with school procedures. We are looking for up to 28 hours over 5 days. Start times and finish times can be flexible but must include lunchtime.
This would be till the end of the school year in the first instance with a start date asap.
