We are seeking an experienced, capable and enthusiastic person to join our dedicated Teaching Assistant team working under the guidance and supervision of the Headteacher and teachers in these vital and rewarding roles. Someone who is enthusiastic and committed to meeting the needs of all pupils by providing support for teaching & learning and associated activities for pupils who require additional assistance in school on a 1:1 basis.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with children, and have the desire to put children’s needs at the centre of their role. CACHE Level 3 or an equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification is required along with numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to NVQ Level 3 or GCSE Grade 5 are necessary. Successful candidates will have the ability to work unsupervised, using initiative to prioritise, multi-task and be flexible. The ability to work calmly under pressure and with a “can-do” approach is also required.

We are looking for someone on a fixed-term basis starting in January 2025.
