About the role
We are a welcoming and inclusive Nursery and Infants' school in Stevenage with high expectations for our children who are motivated and keen to learn. We are looking to appoint a patient, hard-working and confident Teaching Assistant to join our creative and friendly staff team. This appointment will be on a term time only basis.
The successful candidate will be well experienced in working with young children, preferably in an educational environment.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A positive, patient and pro-active approach
- committment to children's learning
- An ability to work well in a team
- A desire to develop their own practice
- Experience of working with young children of all abilities, preferably in an educational environment
- Experience of working with a wide range of children from a variety of backgrounds
- Level 2 or above qualification in Classroom Learning Support or similar
- GCSE passes in Maths and English
- good behaviour management

This role is for 27.5 hours per week, term time only, fixed to July 2025 with the possibility of extension subject to the needs of the cohort.
